WHAT IS HERD?

HERD is an acronym representing four core values: Honor, Effort, Respect, and Determination.

• Honor:  Doing the right thing when no one is looking and representing our name with class
• Effort:  Giving 100 percent in our classrooms and our arenas
• Respect:  Valuing the person next to you, the staff guiding you, and the mountain — our campus — that we share
• Determination:  True grit when the slope gets steep; when failing a test or losing a game, the HERD  bounces back and doesn’t quit
