Affinity Groups Outdoor Field Day: Join AASA, BSU, MSA, and UNIDOS US this Wednesday, September 18, 2024, from 3:00-4:15 p.m. Meet us at Door 6 for a community walk towards Sunset Knoll for some friendly competition and food! EVERYONE: Eat at Dairy Queen in Lombard this Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to help raise funds for the STEM Club! Mention GLENBARD EAST STEM CLUB at check out. Thank you for your support!

Girls/Boys Gymnastics: The next open gym will be Wednesday Sept 18th from 3:00-4:30. No experience necessary, you just can’t be in a fall sport. Meet in the gymnastics balcony which is at the end of the hall on the third floor. Questions contact [email protected].

Glenbard East Business Club: Come join Glenbard East’s Business Club on Thursday, 9/19.  We will meet from 3:05-4:05 after school in room 202.  Going forward our meetings will be two Thursdays per month.  Join us in forming your own career on YOUR OWN TERMS! feel free to stop by for as long as you’d like, all are welcome!

Guitar Club: Do you play the guitar or want to learn? Guitar Club is the place for you! Our next meeting is this Friday, September 20, 3:10-4:00 in the Orchestra Room. We provide guitars, music, and snacks. Email Mr. Fawkes at [email protected] with any questions.

Science Olympiad is meeting on Wednesday 9/18 in Room 105 at 3:05 (activity bus passes will be available if you need one).  All are welcome to join at any time.  We will discuss the Regional Contest, and the topics for this year’s competition.  We look forward to meeting you!  Questions, ask Mrs. Abrams or Mrs. Sabol in the Science Department.

The Write Place + (Math) Is Open For Business! The Write Place + (Math) is a resource for students to receive help on writing or math from tutors who are trained to guide students towards their learning goals. Tutors can help students at any stage of the writing process: whether it’s brainstorming ideas, drafting their writing, or revising their essays. Our goal is to help students build confidence in their writing and math skills.  The Write Place + (Math) is open during every lunch and collaboration period in room 315A. Students can drop in anytime or make an appointment using the QR code on the door.
