The votes are in! The top teachers from last week’s survey are now competing for your donations! Stop by the Main Office or outside of the cafeteria during your lunch all week to donate money towards the teacher you would like to win! Every penny counts. Don’t forget, the top three winners will dress up as a turkey the day before Thanksgiving Break. Reach out to your Student Council President, Teresa Gutierrez, or Ms. Maslo for additional information. Gobble gobble!

PRISM: Join Glenbard East’s PRISM club starting this Thursday, November 18th where members of our LGBTQIA+ community can connect with one another, share experiences, and have fun! PRISM aims to promote acceptance, understanding, and support of all students in our school community. All are welcome regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. Attention Actors and Comedians! Don’t miss the The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged) Audition Workshop for the winter play presented by Glenbard East Fine Arts.  The workshop is Thursday, November 18 in Rider Hall from 2:35 PM- 3:00 PM.   Find out about how to prepare for the upcoming audition.  Any questions? Science Olympiad: Meet in room 105 at 2:45 to build and practice for our events competition at COD on March 12, 2022.  All are welcome to join the club at any time, come to a meeting and learn all about it. Contact Mrs. Sabol or Mrs Abrams.

Don’t miss G.E. Theatre’s fall production The Edge Of Peace. This poignant and touching drama set in a small Illinois town at the end of World War II, follows several characters as they come to grips with ending one chapter in their lives before moving on to the next. Performances are November 17, 18, 19 & 20 at 7:30 pm. and November 21 at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $8.00 dollars and may be purchased during the lunch periods, at our website or at the door. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, audiences will be required to be fully masked and will be seated with social distancing.

Guitar Club: November 19th from 2:40 to 3:30 in the Orchestra Room. New and experienced players are welcome. Try one of our acoustic or electric guitars or bring your own if you like. Bring a friend! Contact Mr. Fawkes, [email protected], with questions.
