Daily Announcements for November 12

The after school weight room activity will be closed until further notice. As soon as we are able, we will make announcements for reopening. It is our hope to expedite this as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for your patience.

It is not too late to join the wrestling team! No experience necessary. Especially if you are a freshman come and see what wrestling is all about. The wrestling team is also looking for additional Managers to keep score for wrestling meets. Contact Coach Pool at [email protected] if you are interested. 

Bonjour tout le monde! This week is National French Week and we appreciate your support of our program! Each day we will be hosting a trivia question featured in the announcements and on the scrolling announcements throughout the school.  All staff and students are welcome to participate! You can submit your answer on paper in the Main Office or email [email protected]. We are looking forward to awarding great prizes to students and staff–yes you all deserve some prizes!

Attention Actors and Comedians! Don’t miss the The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged) Audition Workshop for the winter play presented by Glenbard East Fine Arts.  The workshop is Thursday, November 18 in Rider Hall from 2:35 PM- 3:00 PM.   Find out about how to prepare for the upcoming audition.  Any questions? Don’t miss G.E. Theatre’s fall production The Edge Of Peace. This poignant and touching drama set in a small Illinois town at the end of World War II, follows several characters as they come to grips with ending one chapter in their lives before moving on to the next. Performances are November 17, 18, 19 & 20 at 7:30 pm. and November 21 at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $8.00 dollars and may be purchased during the lunch periods, at our website gefinearts.org or at the door. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, audiences will be required to be fully masked and will be seated with social distancing.
