Daily Announcements for August 29

IMPORTANT  REMINDER!  The school will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2025 for Labor Day.  Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

Attention all of you math whizzes!  There will be an informational meeting for all students interested in MATH TEAM on Monday September 8th after school in room 285 at 3:05.  If you have questions about the math team, or are unable to attend, please see Mr. Podraza or your math teacher. 

Girls and Boys Gymnastics: Open gym for girls and boys gymnastics will begin on Wednesday Sep 3rd from 3:05 – 4:15, and will continue to happen each Wednesday unless stated otherwise. Open gyms are located at the end of the hall on the third floor in the gymnastics balcony. No experience is necessary, come give it a try. However you cannot currently be in a FALL sport if you want to come to the open gym. Questions email: [email protected]

Key Club:  What is Key Club?  Why should you join Key Club?  How much fun is Key Club?!  Come to our informational meeting on Tuesday, September 2, during PLC in Room 251 across from the cafeteria.  Learn how you can serve in your school and your community while having fun, making new friends, gaining work experience through volunteering, earning service hours, and so much more!  Email Key Club President Mia Chan ([email protected]) or Ms. McNett ([email protected]) with any questions. 

Muslim Student Association: Join us for our first meeting of the year in 104 on Thursday, September 4 from 3:10-4:10 pm- all are welcome! AND visit Oberweis in Glen Ellyn on Friday, September 5 to help us raise funds to support future programs/events. Click here for more info!

National English Honor Society: There is a mandatory member meeting at 7:30 am on Wednesday, September 10 in Room 282. Please be early as we have a lot to cover.

Spanish Club: Come join us for our kick-off meeting / ice cream social on Thursday, September 4th after school in room 283. Make new friends and connect with others who are interested in Hispanic Culture. New members are most welcome! Questions? Contact Señora Fagiolo
