Day of (NO) Silence 4/17: This year, Glenbard East’s PRISM club will observe “Day of (NO) Silence” on Thursday, April 17th. Building on the former “Day of Silence,” this initiative led by GLSEN encourages us to actively use our voices to speak out against the harmful effects of harassment and discrimination faced by LGBTQ+ individuals in schools. During passing periods on 4/17 you will hear LGBTQ+ music artists and allies, so feel free to dance and sing! Join us in celebrating this Thursday by wearing your pride gear, and pick up a sticker at door 1 to show your support and help us raise awareness! For more information, please contact Ms. Wagner ([email protected]).
