Required School Day SAT Spring Testing
The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) will provide the College Board PSAT 8/9 to all students in the ninth grade, PSAT 10 to all students in the 10th grade, and SAT to all students in the 11th grade for free beginning spring 2020.
Offering these assessments will allow the state to measure and support students’ growth in high school and to continue offering all students a free college entrance exam administered during the school day.
SAT School Day testing will occur on April 14, 2020, and PSAT 8/9 and PSAT 10 administration will occur April 15, 2020, with a makeup day on April 28 for all three tests. The window for students with accommodations will run from April 14 to 28. The School Day SAT is required by the State of Illinois for graduation.
