Junior/Senior Prom 2019 Information

EVENING EVENT DETAILS

  • Saturday, May 11th
  • 6:30 Check-In
  • 7:00 Sit Down Dinner
  • 7:30pm-10:30pm DJ & Dancing (No admittance after 8:00pm)
  • Carlisle Banquets, 435 Butterfield Rd, Lombard, IL
  • $75 for East students; $80 for Non-EAST-Student Guests
  • Students will not be permitted to leave until 10:00pm.

TICKET INFORMATION

  • All ticket sales are FINAL – No refunds – No exceptions
  • No ticket sales after deadlines
  • No ticket exchanges
  • No refunds for any reason

Non-EAST-Student Guest:

  • An EAST student may bring ONE (1) non-EAST-student guest who is approved.
  • The guest must be at least a freshman in high school and 20 years old or younger.
  • Please follow these steps to bring your non-EAST-student guest:

1. Pick up a Permission Form: They are available in the Dean’s Office or online.

2. The EAST student fills out the pertaining information including their own guardian’s signature.
3. The Non-EAST-Student guest needs to fill out their portion & it needs to be signed by the guest’s parent/guardian and high school administrator.
4. The EAST student brings the completed form AND a copy of their guest’s PHOTO ID to get approval from their dean.
5. The EAST student brings completed form with dean signature to purchase the tickets.
6. No refunds or exchanges can be made.

When purchasing tickets you must have:

  • Glenbard East Student ID
  • (If applicable) The Student Guest Permission Form with a signature from the dean AND a copy of their photo ID.
  • Completed Google form (done during ticket purchase)

TICKET SALES

  • Tuesday through Thursday, April 23-25 during ALL lunch periods in the cafeteria hallway ($75.00 for East Student; $80.00 for Non-East Student)
  • Friday, April 26 LAST CHANCE TO PURCHASE after school in room 286. Price increases to $80 GE students & $85 non-East guests.

TABLE RESERVATIONS

  • You may reserve a dinner table to sit with your friends by filling out the table reservation form that will be sent to all students who have purchased a prom ticket. A link will be shared with all ticket purchasers on Monday, April 29th and the link will be turned off Friday, May 3rd.
  • It will be your responsibility to fill out the form by May 3rd.
  • If you do not fill out the form you will be assigned a table.
  • There will be 10 students permitted to sit at each table.
  • Make sure you are not committing to sit at any other tables! If we find duplicate names your table will not be reserved!!!!!!!!!

PROM SONG REQUESTS
Want to request songs to hear at Prom??? Follow these steps!

You can request up to 5 songs.  If a song is not on the list, you can add it under the “Add Your Own” tab.

PROM ENTRY GUIDELINES

  • All students must present their current student ID at the door and keep it in their possession at all times to show if requested.
  • Non-EAST guest must have their ID that was submitted.
  • Persons who ARE LATE will not be admitted to prom. Any student denied entry to prom because they are late will NOT be issued a refund.
  • Backpacks and bags will be allowed and must be checked in upon entry.
  • DO NOT leave any items unattended at your table. EAST HS is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Students and guests may not leave prom until 10:00pm.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Prom portraits are provided by LifeTouch Photography Studios:

  • Students will receive photography information when they purchase their prom ticket(s).
  • Students must pay for their pictures at prom; the photography studio will not bill students later.

BEHAVIORAL AND DISCIPLINE

  • If the student loses the privilege to prom after purchase or purchases even though they aren’t allowed, NO REFUND CAN BE ISSUED.
  • Students who come to a dance under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol will face school consequences and may be banned from other dances for up to a year and/or risk not participating in graduation.
  • There is to be no use of electronic cigarettes, tobacco, alcohol or drugs. All school rules and regulations are in effect and apply to Glenbard East students and their guests.
  • Appropriate dancing is expected. Students deemed to be dancing in an inappropriate or sexually explicit manner may be asked to leave and will not receive a refund.
  • The Glenbard East dress code will be enforced. Students who are denied entry due to inappropriate attire will NOT be given a refund.
  • Students must be in attendance at school on Friday, May 10th in order to attend to prom.
